Rose M. Potts of Bedford passed away Sunday night at Garden Villa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 79.
Born in 1928 in Lawrence County to Carl and Grace Tyndal, Rose was a retiree of the Army department of NSWC Crane and member of the VFW Auxiliary and White River Humane Society where she was a Coleman Award recipient.
She is survived by her husband Paul, brother Wayne and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Gail.
Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service tomorrow at Day & Carter.
