Allan W. Johnson of Mitchell, formerly of Jacksonville, New Jersey and known to friends and family as “Al,” passed away Tuesday afternoon at Bloomington Hospital of Orange County in Paoli at the age of 57.
Born in 1950 in Mount Holly, New Jersey, Al was a truck driver for Bedford Recycling, owner of a stock car, and member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge and Marvin R. Davis VFW Post 9107.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Allan, Paul and Sean, daughter Kristen, brother Stanley, and 4 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Elizabeth.
Services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00am at Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt, New Jersey with burial to follow at Juliustown Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 8:00pm at Chastain Funeral Home.
