Oren F. Roach of Avoca passed away Monday night at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 86.
Born in 1921 in Lawrence County to Earl and Essie Roach, Oren worked at the Farm Bureau Lumber Yard in Bedford and was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife Betty, sons David and Donald, and sisters Dorothy and Goldie.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Owen.
Services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Springville Christian Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service Friday at Day & Carter.
