Betty Rose Wheeler of Shoals passed away Wednesday at noon at her home at the age of 72.
Born in 1935 in Lawrence County to Howard and Gertie Owen, Betty was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter Darlene, brother George, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard, and brothers Kenneth and Donald.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 2:00pm at Mount Olive Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation will be from 10:00am until 1:30pm Monday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
