Leslie Monroe Ryan of Greenwood, known to friends and family as “Roe,” passed away Friday at St. Francis Hospital in Greenwood at the age of 86.
Born in 1921 in Tateville, Kentucky to Jerry and Frances Ryan, Roe was a retiree of Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife Zena, daughter Glenda, sons Tim and Jim, sister Mae, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Eula, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be held Thursday morning at 11:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday night from 3:00pm until 8:00pm.
