Emma L. Poole of Oolitic passed away Sunday afternoon at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 64.
Born in 1943 to Alex and Maggie Wilson, Emma was a factory worker for PRD and member of Williams Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Jerry, her son Kevin, daughter Renee, sisters Zelma, Rosalee and Kathy, brothers Floyd and Earl, 2 granddaughters, 5 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carl, Cecil, Wendell and Chester, and sisters Dorothy, Doris and Thelma.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2:00 until 8:00pm tonight at Day & Carter.
