Dessie E. Hawkins of Bedford passed away early Friday morning at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford at the age of 89.
Services will be held at 1:30 this afternoon at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
