Bedford Parks and Recreation Department new date announced for Father-Daughter dance

BEDFORD – The Bedford Parks and Recreation Department Father-Daughter dance that was originally scheduled for Friday, February 4th, has been moved to Friday, March 11th at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Bedford on 20th Street.

The decision to move the date played in part with the rise in COVID-19 cases in Lawrence County in January and ticket sales were put on hold.

The Parks Department will begin selling tickets again on February 9th and will be $25 and will be $30 for two or more daughters. Tickets will be on sale through March 9th at the Parks Office located at 1625 Q Street.

Tickets will not be sold after March 9th and will not be sold at the door to allow the staff time to get a proper headcount for food orders.
