BLOOMINGTON – Revel in the sights and sounds of the season with a stroll through Switchyard Park, and marvel at the thousands of lights that bring the park to life.
The Bloomington Parks & Recreation event is free to attend on Friday, December 10 and Saturday, December 11.
Switchyard Park is located at 1601 South Rogers Street in Bloomington.
Friday Schedule of Events
- Hot drinks available for purchase from Sober Joe
- Make your way along the paved path around Switchyard Park to view the light displays
Saturday Schedule of Events – participation in all events is free.
- 4 p.m. Candy Cane Hunt for ages 8 yrs. and under.
- 4:30 p.m. Milk Bone hunt for dogs. All leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
- 5:30 p.m. Ugly Holiday Sweater One-Mile Fun Run
- 5:30-6:15 p.m. live music by the Bloomington Chamber Singers
- 6:30- 8 p.m. live music by Greenwaves
All evening there will be photo opportunities so bring your cameras. Food trucks will be at the park.
