Clifford Leon Pruett

November 29, 1973 – July 31, 2021

Clifford Leon Pruett, 47, of Campbellsburg, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021, at his residence.

Born November 29, 1973, in Salem, he was the son of Clifford Laverne and Sharon Louise (Green) Pruett.  He married Lisa Dawn Grogan on July 3, 2002.

Clifford has been employed at GKN, was a 1992 graduate of Orleans High School, and a member of Lost River Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his kids and grandkids, and making people laugh. 

Clifford was a U. S. Navy veteran and a member of American Legion Post No. 250 and the Honor Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Pruett of Campbellsburg; mother, Sharon Pruett of Campbellsburg; children, Clifford Scott (Tiffany) Pruett of Mitchell, Brandon Middleton of Campbellsburg, Tamara Gray of Mitchell, Kristy Anderson of Mitchell, Ethan and Haley Fields being raised in the home; grandchildren, Ryker, Clifford “Elijah”, Grayson, Lillian, Maxine, Beau, Jaden, Landon, Kaleb, Preston, Kymber, and Skylar; great-grandchildren,  Amias and Ember; siblings, Jerald (Diane) Pruett of Hardinsburg, Lonnie (Dianna) Pruett of Livonia, Aron (Lori) Pruett of Campbellsburg, Remona (Jeffrey) Sayles of Hardinsburg, Rex (Ashley) Pruett of Campbellsburg’ in-laws, Dennis Grogan of Bedford, Viola (Daryl) Irwin of Mitchell, Cathy (Steve) Chapman of Oolitic, Debbie (Jim) Tincher of Bedford, Keith Grogan of Bedford; several nieces and nephews

His father, Clifford Laverne Pruett, grandson, Kyler; nephew, Rexy Pruett; great-nephew, Baby Rexy Pruett; and mother-in-law, Norma Allbright, preceded him in death.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, with Pastor Jeff Cook officiating.  Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family requests that masks be worn.
