BEDFORD – One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on US 50 East near B Street.
According to a Bedford Police Department report, the accident was reported at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday.
John Elkins, 70, of Bedford told police he was stopped in traffic waiting for a vehicle to turn when his 1989 Chevrolet Silverado was struck in the rear.
Evan Corra, 19, of Bedford, told police he did not realize the vehicle in front of his 2008 Ford Fusion had stopped and struck the rear of the vehicle.
Elkins complained of neck and head pain and was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.
