Full Call-Out Issued by INDOT Southeast for Accumulating Snow

(UNDATED) – The Indiana Department of Transportation Southeast District has issued a full call-out of plow trucks ahead of accumulating snow and wintry mix expected tonight through Thursday.

The National Weather Service is predicting one-to-two inches in most locations, with three inches possible in some areas.

A Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect tonight and end Friday morning for Central and Southern Indiana, including Lawrence, Brown, Bartholomew, Daviess, Greene, Jackson, Martin, and Monroe counties.

Accumulating snow is expected tonight with 1 to 2 inches of snow possible. Below zero wind chills are possible again Thursday night and Friday morning and night and again on Saturday morning.

Cold temperatures will be a concern and slick conditions may develop overnight.

Plow drivers will begin reporting between 9 and 10 p.m. Wednesday evening to start monitoring and treating state roads. At this time, crews are expected to stay active through at least Thursday afternoon.
