Hubert Earl Tieman, 78, of Springville, passed away on September 14, 2020 at his residence.
Born June 16, 1942, in Smithville, he was the son of Paul and Daisy (Harding) Tieman.
Hubert married Cheryl Lynn Pickens on June 3, 1987 and she survives.
Hubert was a graduate of Smithville High School, retired from RCA in Bloomington, and was a partner at Tieman Tire. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, IU basketball, mushroom hunting, and being outdoors. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Surviving include wife, Cheryl, of Springville; children, Hubert Tieman Jr., of Springville, Jeff (Sarah) Tieman, of Springville, Lisa Tieman-Reed, of Bloomfield, Travis (Gina) Tieman, of Owensburg, Rachel (Brent) Mann, of Solsberry, and Wesley (Jennifer) Tieman, of Springville; grandchildren, Jerrad (Amanda) Tieman, Luke Reed, Lexy (Brandon) Hovis, Anna Tieman, Barrett Tieman, Kaylie Tieman, Noah Tieman, Kayden, Kingston, and Rosalyn Mann; great-grandchildren, Bryce Tieman and Bailee Tieman; siblings, Hershel Tieman, Rosetta Steward, Pauline (Alan) Huffer, and Becky Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Bernard Tieman.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Cremation will follow.
