(BEDFORD) – St. Vincent de Paul School received notification of their first COVID-19 case.
Officials have been in contact with the Lawrence County Health Department and are following all CDC guidelines.
Due to mitigation efforts by the school and the timeline surrounding a positive test result and the onset of symptoms, there is no quarantine instruction for classmates.
The St. Vincent de Paul leadership team, staff, and faculty are working diligently to provide a safe educational environment during this difficult period.
Officials stress and reinforce that students continue to address the importance of wearing their masks, washing their hands, and practicing social distancing in and out of school.
Officials thanked parents for their continued support and attentiveness in communicating with them all illnesses, related absences, and being forthcoming if your child is experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19.
School officials are committed to following recommendations and guidelines from tracking the onset of any symptoms and the implication for attending and returning to school.
