(OOLITIC) – The Oolitic Police Department and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a traffic accident that occurred Saturday night in the southbound lane of State Road 37 and Patton Hill Road intersection.
A call came in just after 8:00 p.m. reporting a multi-vehicle accident.
At this time the number of vehicles damaged and persons injured in the accident is not known.
The accident caused delays in the southbound lane from the Avoca turnoff to the Patton Hill Road intersection.
The Oolitic Police Department, Oolitic Fire Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, Bedford Fire Department Extrication, and IU Health Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene.
