(DAVIESS CO.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure on State Road 558 for a pipe replacement project.
Beginning on or around 4 p.m. Monday, July 6 INDOT maintenance crews will close State Road 558 near the intersection of U.S. 231 to replace a drainage culvert. The work will take place overnight and only one pipe will be excavated.
Depending upon weather conditions the work is expected to take one night with the road to open to traffic by 8 a.m. the next morning.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
