(MITCHELL) – Firefighters are battling a fire in the 4300 block of Stonington Road.
Firefighters from Marion Township, Mitchell, and Huron Volunteer Fire Department are on the scene.
Huron firefighters are transporting water to the fire scene.
The fire could be seen from State Road 37.
Windy conditions made battling the blaze difficult. The house was consumed in the fire.
The fire spread to the grass near the home.
