This month’s featured vendor is Stonewall Maple Syrup.

David Ray’s grandpa taught him the technique of processing tree sap into maple syrup. While they worked on a small scale with 5 trees, David had bigger dreams. He put his life savings into buying the processing equipment from someone who was leaving the business. This man taught David how to use the equipment and after a very steep learning curve.

David is now in his fifth year of maple syrup production. David has 300 taps on his family’s property in Bedford and processes the sap in a historic barn in Bloomington.

Each year he acquires more equipment and has grown from 30 to 70 gallons per year, Come visit his booth and purchase some of the tasty maple syrup. He also sells vegetables and mushrooms.
