(BEDFORD) – Two people were stopped after Walmart employees caught them stealing from the store on Sunday afternoon.
According to Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore, store employees detained 23-year-old Tyler Littrell and 21-year-old Josie Millard, both of Bedford, until officers arrived.
“Store employees witnessed the two make several selections and proceed to the self check out register where they ‘skip-scan’ and only paid for a selected few items and not all the merchandise,” says Chief Moore. “Both were stopped by employees when they passed all final points of sale.”
Littrell and Millard were issued summons to appear in court on a charge of theft and were issued no-trespass orders keeping them from returning to the store.
