Applications Sought for Owner-Occupied Housing Repairs in Linton

(LINTON) – The City of Linton is applying for Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation funds from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.

The grant, if awarded, will provide rehabilitation on eligible houses owned by low and moderate-income persons living in Linton.

The city is targeting 20 percent of the houses assisted towards the disabled; families with children under the age of 6; elderly; veterans; and single-parent households.

Assistance is based upon household size and income.

You must own and be living in the house.

Contract sales and single-wide trailers are not eligible.

Applications to qualify for assistance will be taken on August 21st from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Linton City Hall at 86 South Main Street.
