Colts Rookie Class Ranked No. 1 For 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Almost a year ago, the Indianapolis Colts made 11 selections in the 2018 NFL Draft, and many of those rookies played big roles during the 2018 season.

Now, NFL.com has rated the Colts’ rookie class as the best in the league for 2018.
The team received an “A” rating, and said, “GM Chris Ballard eschewed sexier picks in the early rounds, instead selecting the best lineman in the draft in Nelson, who immediately paid dividends while earning All-Pro honors.”
The article also called linebacker Darius Leonard “a revelation” as he took home Defensive Rookie of the Year while also being named to the All-Pro team.
The piece also mentioned wide receiver Deon Cain “could develop into a good receiver if he can return to full strength after tearing his ACL in August.”
They ended their write-up by saying it was “an excellent draft” for Ballard, as he “solidified what was a porous line, and helped turn around the Colts.”
Fans will have to wait until April 25 to see what the Colts do in the 2019 NFL Draft.
