Grace Morron – Bedford

Grace Morron, 91, of Bedford, died at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016 at White River Lodge.
Born June 3, 1925, in Monroe Co., she was the daughter of Perry and Etta (Glascow) Smith. She married Russell W. Morron on September 25, 1945 and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and attended the First Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include a son, Rick Morron, of Bedford; a daughter, Connie Sue Howe and husband, Hershel, of Bedford; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, Elbert, Delbert, Lloyd, Ethel and Herman Smith and four sisters, Leona Martin, Velma Kinser, Elsie Deckard, and Floine Sowders.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 28th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Buck Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Tommy Dean Wagner – Mitchell

Tommy Dean Wagner, 54, of Mitchell, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born February 16, 1962, in Bedford, he was the son of Shirley (Tolliver) Webster. He married Bonita Gay Tow June 26, 1981. Tommy was a member of IBEW Local 1393, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Survivors include his wife, Bonita Wagner of Mitchell;sons, Zachary (Kimberlee) Wagner of Hardinsburg, Cody Wagner of Mitchell; grandchildren, Braxton Wagner, Savannah Wagner, Piper Wagner and Khloe, Wagner; siblings, Danny Wagner of Bedford, Luann Roberts of Martinsville, Kelly Stroud of Williams, Matt Webster of Mitchell
His mother and brother, David Wagner, preceded him in death.
Cremation was chosen.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chastain Funeral Home.

Hubert Albert Asbery – Williams

Hubert Albert Asbery, 73, of Williams, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 8, 1943, in Burgin, Kentucky, he was the son of Charlie E. Asbery and Lillian (Selch) Reed. He married Linda K. Mundy December 31, 1963, and she preceded him in death August 26, 2010.
Hubert was the assistant maintenance director at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and a farmer. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club and Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 654.
Survivors include his children, Sandra Lynn (Jeff McMahel) Kimmel of Paoli, Lisa Diane (Barry) Collins of Mitchell, Emily Kay Shelley of Oolitic, Whitney Nicole Shelley of Bedford, Crystal Lee Shelley of Bedford; companion, Abby Shelley of Williams; grandchildren, Linsey Taylor, Cory Collins, Kaycie McIntosh, Andrew Kimmel, Kaylee Zigler, Cassie Payton, and Elijah Allen; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Evelyn (Willie Lowry, Jr.) Reynolds of Versailles, Kentucky, J. R. (Virginia) Asbery of Greenup, Kentucky, William “Bill” (Judy) Asbery of Mitchell; sister-in- law, Connie Asbery of Paoli
His parents; brother, John Edward Asbery; and grandson, Remington Allen, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Jim Russell officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Casketbearers: Cory Collins, Andy Kimmel, Chris Taylor, Calin Payton, Anthony McIntosh, and Jeremy Allen.

Duane (Buck) Brown – Bedford
October 9, 1952 – October 24, 2016
Duane (Buck) Brown, 64, of Bedford, died Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born October 9, 1952 in Salem, IN, he was the son of Russell Virgil and Betty Rose (Huffman) Brown. He married Betty Louise Hawkins on October 9, 1981 and she survives. He was a project manager for the Indiana State Highway for thirty-nine years. He was a member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsman’s Club and loved hunting, fishing and playing cards.
Survivors include a step-son, James Arthur and wife, Janice, of Canada; a step-daughter, Penny Reintsma and husband, Chad, of Montana; grandchildren, Tanner Arthur, James Arthur, Nicholas Arthur, Sadie Winters, Ryan Lane, Kaitlyn Thomas, and Luke Reintsma; a great grandchild, Marley Thomas, a sister, Debbie Batt and spouse, Leslie, of Salem; brothers, David Brown, and wife, Reba, Denver Brown and Daryl Brown, all of Campbellsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Dylon Thomas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 27th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
