Ruth M. Ramey of Bedford passed away Monday morning, November 2nd at White River Lodge at the age of 92.
Born in 1917 in Bicknell, Indiana to parents John C. and Henrietta (Butler) Dye, she had been married to George T. Ramey since 1950.
Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Bedford.
She is survived by her children, Richard Ramey and his wife Marilyn, Warren “Tom” Ramey and his wife Rita, Ladonna Sue Elkins, David Ramey and his wife JoAnn; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by daughters, Patricia Godsey and Gloria Bailey; granddaughter, Carla Godsey; her parents; her husband; three brothers, Ward, David, John and a sister, Martha Fields.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday at Green Hill Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation will be from 12:00PM until 1:45PM on Wednesday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
