Georgia M. Terrell – Mitchell
July 30, 1932 – April 6, 2019
Georgia M. Terrell, 86, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.
Born July 30, 1932, in Bicknell, she was the daughter of John and Imogene Crays. She was formerly married to Wilbur Max Terrell who preceded her in death August 21, 2015.
Georgia retired from Mitchell Community Schools where she served as custodian. She attended the Mitchell Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Trowbridge of Troy, Illinois; 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren
Her parents preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 11, at Huron Cemetery with Brother Allen Burris, officiating.

B. Franklin Davis – Shoals

B. Franklin Davis, 91, of Shoals, passed away at his residence on April 7, 2019.
He was born February 23, 1928, in Martin County to Belter and Elizabeth (Emmons) Davis. He married Hazel Gaddis on August 27, 1950, at the Shoals Christian Church and she preceded him in death.
Franklin graduated in 1947 from Shoals High School. He was employed by Sherfick’s Grocery, Wheeler- Foutch Distributors in Bedford, Colonial Bakery in Washington, was the manager of the Shoals Jay-C Food Store, manager of Home Outfitters in Loogootee, Heileg-Meyers in Loogootee and Bedford and Englerts in Loogootee.
He was an Elder of the Shoals Christian Church over fifty years, fifty-year member of the Masonic Lodge F&AM #332 and Order of the Eastern Star, Past President of the Shoals Lions Club, past leader of the Shoals Boy Scout Troop and a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War.
Survivors include a son, Spencer Allan Davis of Shoals and one daughter, Marsha Lynn Davis Rothrock of Bloomington.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gladys Davis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Shoals Christian Church with Pastor Matthew Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals and one hour prior to the service at the church.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Harold F. Hodges – Ocala, Florida
April 8, 1919 – December 28, 2018
Harold F. Hodges, 99, formerly of Bedford, passed away on December 28, 2018 in Ocala, Florida.
Born April 8, 1919, in Heltonville, he was the son of Ollie R. and Frances (Foster) Hodges.
He married Audie Hall on October 3, 1942; they had 5 children, Ronald Hodges, Gloria Phillips, John Hodges, Pat Hodges and Larry Hodges; and numerous grandchildren.
Harold was the co-owner, along with Audie, of Hodges Refrigeration and Ice Service. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of life will be held at the graveside at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Erie United Methodist Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted at the graveside by members of the American Legion Gillen Post #33.

Audie (Hall) Hodges – Ocala, Florida

Audie (Hal) Hodges, 98, formerly of Bedford, passed away on December 15, 2018, in Ocala, Florida.
Born April 22, 1920, in Evergreen, Alabama, she was the daughter of Irvin and Beal (Elder) Hall.
She married Harold F. Hodges on October 3, 1942; they had 5 children, Ronald Hodges, Gloria Phillips, John Hodges, Pat Hodges and Larry Hodges; and numerous grandchildren. Audie was co-owner, along with Harold, of Hodges Refrigeration and Ice Service. She was of the Protestant Faith.
Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of life will be held at the graveside at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Erie United Methodist Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted at the graveside by members of the American Legion Gillen Post #33.

Darlene Mae May, 77, of Bedford, died at 6:33 a.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born March 4, 1942, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Samual H. and Dorothy F. (Cummings) Hatfield. She married Marvel May on March 22, 1974, and he survives. She retired as an assembly line worker from RCA. She attended the Burgoon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marvel, of Bedford; children, Curtis E. Pruett, Sr. and wife, Ruby, of Bloomington, Cathy G. Godsey and husband, Ray, Randy S. Pruett and wife, Ann, all of Bedford, Tim J. Pruett and wife, Amber, of Bloomington; two step-sons, Brion May and wife, Mindy, Brent May and wife, Nikki, all of Fayetteville; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Darnell Holsapple and husband, Mike, of Williams, JoEllen Stevens and husband, Tom, of Oolitic, Gregory Hatfield, of Bedford, Rick Hatfield and wife, Gala, of Mitchell, and Jill Beaver, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter
Mortuary with Rev. Harold Godsey and Rev. Curtis Pruett officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory
Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.on Thursday, April 11th and from 10 a.m. until the hour of
service on Friday, April 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
