Ronald D. Neideffer – Mitchell
Ronald D. Neideffer of Mitchell passed away on Sunday, February 13th at Indiana University Health Bedford at the age of 76. Born in 1934 in Washington County to Roy G. and Hazel Priscilla Neideffer, he had been married to Lois M. Watterson since 1954 and later to Carol Pentzer in 1993. Ronald was a former employee of Bridwell’s Appliance Store, was a member of the Orleans Christian Church and the Mitchell Lions Club, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Warren G. Brock American Legion Post No. 69. He is survived by his second wife; daughters, Debbie Hunt, Gwyndolyn Pentzer and Amy Lindley; one son, Michael Pentzer and one sister, Jennie Wolcott. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and one sister, Geneva Wheat. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, February 16th in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Talbott Cemetery and military honors by the American Legion Post No. 69. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Tuesday and from 9:30AM until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
