John W. Shoults of Marion, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Sunday night at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System in Marion at the age of 75.
Born in 1933 in Lawrence County to Walter and Lula Shoults, John was an Army veteran of the Korean War and of the protestant faith.
He is survived by his daughters Lorraine, Louella, Gretchen, Audrey and Charlotte, sons Sheldon, Bradley and Walter, 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Norman and Gene, sisters Betty and Roberta, and 3 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00am at Mitchell Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 5:00pm Friday at Chastain Funeral Home.
