Donald Isaac Passmore of Mitchell passed away Saturday morning at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 78.
Born in 1930 in Mitchell to James and Lavina Passmore, Donald was a retired production worker at Carpenter Body Works, veteran of the US Air Force and lifetime member of American Legion Cecil Martin Post 250 in Mitchell.
He is survived by his sisters Vickee, Mary, Evelyn and Jean, brothers Larry, Roy and Ron and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, sons George and Buck, brothers Ralph, James, Ken, and Charles, and sister Lena.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00am at the Haverly Chapel of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Mitchell with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be tonight from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Ferguson-Lee Haverly Chapel.
