Lucy Jones of Bedford, known to friends and family as “Maxine,” passed away yesterday afternoon at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 82.
Born in 1925 in Orange County to Howard and Lucy Hedrick, Maxine was a retiree of South Haven Coil and member of First Assembly of God in Bedford.
She is survived by her daughters Linda, Sherry and Stacy, 1 grandson, 4 great grandchildren, 1 niece, and 1 nephew.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank and sister Edna.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be tonight from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Ferguson-Lee.
