Phillip M. Brunt of Bedford passed away Tuesday morning at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford at the age of 65.
Born in 1942 in Muncie to Forrest and Murtyle Brunt, Phillip was a retiree of GM, original fireman for Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department and member of Englewood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, daughter Robin, son Larry, step-sons Scott and Eric, brothers Jack and Max, sister Linda, 1 grandson, 1 great granddaughter, 4 step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 3:00 until 8:00pm at Day & Carter.
