BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington will resurface South Liberty Drive from West Third Street to the end of the City-maintained roadway on Thursday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Oct. 30, weather permitting. The work will take place overnight from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. and will be performed by Milestone Contractors as part of the City’s annual pavement maintenance program.
South Liberty Drive will remain open during construction, but motorists should expect temporary lane restrictions, flagging operations, and brief delays. Access to businesses and properties along the roadway will be maintained, although brief interruptions may occur as crews complete paving operations.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the construction zone, follow posted signage, and allow extra travel time.
The City of Bloomington appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed to help maintain and improve the City’s roadway infrastructure.
