SCOTT AND JEFFERSON COUNTIES – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces daily road closures for State Road 356 in Scott and Jefferson Counties.
Beginning on or around Monday, October 5, crews will begin daily road closures on S.R. 356 near Lexington. These closures will occur between Lexington and State Road 62.
Daily road closures will allow for two culvert replacements. These replacements are expected to take two days to complete, depending on the weather. Closures will occur between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
