With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Kay Bertges on September 13th at approximately 5:30 a.m.
Sharon was born on September 26, 1937, in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was married to John I. Bertges, who passed away in 2011.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Delinda Henderson, who lives in Montana, her son, John W. Bertges, and his wife, Dana Bertges, who lovingly cared for her over the last 18 years.Â
She was also blessed with six grandchildren: Sabrina Bertges, Keenan Bertges, Isaiah Winings, Brian Wahl, Dominique Smith, and Cynthia Meadows, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
There will be no funeral or memorial service at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
