The two-day infrastructure project will center around the 1400 block of Beaver Creek Road. Crews will install barricades and “Road Closed” signage around the construction area, though local residents will maintain access to their properties up to the excavation site.

Construction Schedule

  • Day 1 (Sept. 16): Crews will excavate the existing roadway and remove the old culvert down to the creek bed.
  • Overnight (Sept. 16–17): The road will remain fully closed overnight to ensure public safety while the excavation site is open.
  • Day 2 (Sept. 17): Workers will install the new, enlarged culvert and restore the roadway.

The upgrade replaces the previous structure with a significantly larger pipe, designed to handle higher water volumes and reduce frequent localized flooding for families living along the creek. Drivers are advised to plan alternative routes ahead of time.
