Elnora Town Council announces key appointments for utility and park board roles

ELNORA – The Elnora Town Council has officially filled several key municipal positions aimed at supporting local administrative operations and community recreational management.

Cathy Emmons has been appointed as the town’s new Utility Clerk, taking on primary administrative responsibilities for managing local utility records, billing, and public inquiries. Emmons will play a vital front-line role in daily operations. Key responsibilities typically include:

  • Processing monthly water, sewer, and trash collection payments.
  • Managing customer accounts, service connections, and meter readings.
  • Assisting residents with service inquiries and maintaining accurate municipal financial records.

Carolyn Woodruff and Sylvia Lawhead have been named to the Elnora Park Board to help oversee the maintenance, development, and community programming for the town’s public parks.

The Elnora Park Board works to enhance the quality of life for local residents by managing public green spaces and recreational facilities. Board duties generally encompass:
