BEDFORD — The Bedford Rotary Club is sponsoring an upcoming American Red Cross Blood Drive to help maintain a vital blood supply for local patients in need.
Because blood cannot be manufactured, healthcare facilities rely entirely on volunteer donors for surgeries, cancer treatments, organ transplants, and emergency care.

How to Schedule an Appointment
Donors can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visiting RedCrossBlood.org and entering the sponsor code: ROTARYBEDFORD.
Eligible donors are also encouraged to consider a Power Red donation, which allows individuals to donate nearly double the amount of red blood cells during a single visit.
Donor Incentive
Individuals who donate between September 21 and October 18 will receive a $15 e-gift card as a thank-you for giving blood.
