BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Highway Department has announced a temporary road closure taking place today on Passmore Hollow Road to accommodate an essential infrastructure upgrade.
Crews will be replacing a culvert on Passmore Hollow Road between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The road will remain completely closed to all through traffic during these scheduled working hours to ensure the safety of both the road crew and local motorists.
Lawrence County Highway Department Superintendent Brian D. Sowder stated that the department will make every effort to complete the repair project efficiently and reopen the road ahead of the 2:00 p.m. target time, weather and field conditions permitting.
Drivers who typically use Passmore Hollow Road are encouraged to plan ahead, seek alternative routes, and allow extra travel time to reach their destinations today.
