BEDFORD — City officials have announced that all Bedford municipal offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.
The holiday closure will impact local public transportation and city sanitation services. Transit Authority of Stone City (TASC) buses will not be operating on Monday, September 7.
Residents are advised of the following adjustments to the city’s sanitation pickup schedule:
- Trash Routes: All regular Monday trash routes will be collected early on Saturday, September 5.
- Compost Routes: Compost collection will take place on Tuesday, September 8.
City offices and public transportation services will resume their normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 8.
