ORLEANS — A section of Jefferson Street in Orleans is currently shut down as emergency crews respond to a traffic accident and work to clear debris from the roadway.
The Orleans Police Department reported that Jefferson Street is closed between Fifth and Sixth Streets.
Utility and cleanup crews are on site managing vehicle removal and necessary roadside repairs. Motorists traveling through the area are advised to seek alternate routes and expect minor delays until the scene is cleared and traffic flow is fully restored.
