SULLIVAN AND GREENE COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 54 in Sullivan and Greene Counties.
Beginning on or around Monday, August 3, crews will begin a road closure on State Road 54 between Sullivan and Dugger. This closure will occur between U.S. 41 and State Road 59.
This road closure will allow for a chip and seal road maintenance project. Work is expected to take two weeks to complete. Local traffic will retain access during this project. Local traffic will be controlled by a flagger. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
