Kenneth W. Wagoner, 88, of Mitchell passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at his residence.
Kenneth was born in Columbus on July 19, 1938, to Wayn and Winnie (Thomas) Wagoner. Kenneth married Ruthie Harder in 1988, and she survives.
Kenneth retired from The Times-Mail in Bedford; he then retired from the City of Bedford Utilities. Kenneth was a US Army veteran; he was a member of the Bedford Boat Club, the Mitchell American Legion Post #250, and the Oolitic V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthie Wagoner of Mitchell, one sister, Anne (Jim) Nikirk of Bloomington, one sister-in-law, Marcia Young of Mitchell, several nieces, and great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Norma Laux and Mary Webb.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Cresthaven Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
