Claude Stannard, Jr., 71, of Bedford passed away on July 23, 2026, at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Claude was born in Bedford on January 19, 1955, to Claude C. Stannard, Sr. and Sharon (Baker) Stannard. Claude was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include two sons, Claude (Brandi) Stannard III and Joseph Stannard; grandchildren, Courtney, Destiny, Hailee, Nathan, Samantha, Kindra, Cody, Austin, Joshua, and Madison; and great-grandchildren, Waylon, Amelia, Willow, and Greyson.
Claude was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lena Burrell, two sons, Shawn Stannard and Shane Stannard, and one daughter, Lena Rose Stannard.
Private family services are planned with burial in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
