KNOX COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces overnight paving operations for Hart Street in Knox County.
Beginning on or around Sunday, July 26, crews will begin overnight milling, paving, and striping operations on Hart Street in Vincennes. This work will occur within current work zone limits on and around the Hart Street bridge over US 41.
Operations will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly. Intermittent stoppages may occur to allow for safe operations. These stoppages will last no longer than 20 minutes at a time. This work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather.
This work is part of a larger project to improve US 41 in Knox County. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
