CRAWFORD COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 66 in Crawford County.
Beginning on or around Monday, July 27, crews will close State Road 66 near Sulphur. This road closure will occur over Stinking Fork near Old Union Church Road.
This road closure will allow for a bridge maintenance project. Work is expected to last through the end of October, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 62 to State Road 37 to State Road 70. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
