Donna L. Woods, 74, of Bedford, passed away on July 11, 2026, at Redcrest Hospice House in Bloomington, surrounded by her family.
Born August 13, 1951, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Samuel James and Grace Irene (Pritchett) McDonald. Donna married Arnold Woods on January 31, 1988, and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2008. She was a class of 1969 Bedford High School graduate and later worked as a die-cast machine operator and fork truck driver at General Motors. She was a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge and loved to bowl. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her friends and family, and making and remembering memories with her loved ones.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Lori Theroff; three grandchildren, Timothy Webb, Tia (Devin) Lett, and Stephanie Webb; step-granddaughter, Jocelyn Theroff; sister-in-law, Sandy McDonald; niece Amber McDonald; nephew Josh (Brittany) McDonald; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Devyn; several great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats, Smoky and Minni. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold, her parents, a son, Steve Webb, siblings Judith Meadows, Keith McDonald, Sue McDonald, Kent (Mack) McDonald, and a niece Delita Inman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, July 21 st, in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary, with Tia Lett, Tim Webb, and Lori Theroff officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
