MORGAN COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures for State Road 67 in Morgan County.
Beginning on or around Friday, July 17, crews will begin alternating lane closures for State Road 67 near Centerton. These lane closures will occur between State Road 39 and Sycamore Lake Ln, over Sycamore Creek.
Alternating lane closures will allow for a bridge deck overlay project. Phase 1 work will begin in the passing lanes in both directions of travel, with traffic utilizing driving lanes through the work zone. Work is expected to take a month to complete, depending on the weather. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
