BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission is scheduled to convene this Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. to address a variety of economic development and property maintenance initiatives.
The meeting will be held at the commission’s offices located in Room 28 in the courthouse.
The commission’s agenda covers several items aimed at advancing local redevelopment efforts, including:
- Environmental Assessment: The board will review the environmental assessment for the property located at 621 Main Street.
- Contractual Discussions: Members are slated to discuss the contract with the Lawrence County Economic Growth Council (LCEGC).
- Shell Building Oversight: A significant portion of the session will be dedicated to the ongoing marketing strategies and maintenance requirements for the county’s shell building project.
- Financial Review: In addition to standard administrative tasks like the approval of minutes, the commission will conduct a review of current claims and a financial update.
