ELNORA — The Elnora Town Board has scheduled two back-to-back sessions this week to address a critical personnel vacancy in the town’s infrastructure department.
Board members are convening to fill an open part-time Street Utility Technician position.
The first session is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, at 3:30 p.m. at Elnora Town Hall. This meeting will be held as an executive session, allowing board members to privately review and evaluate the resumes submitted by job applicants. In accordance with Indiana Open Door Laws governing specific personnel matters, this initial meeting will not be open to the general public.
Following the private review, the town board will transition to an open forum the following day. A special public meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 17th, at 3:30 p.m., also taking place at Town Hall.
During the Wednesday afternoon public session, board members will openly discuss the technician vacancy and are expected to officially consider hiring a candidate for the position. Local residents and interested community members are welcome to attend the Wednesday meeting to observe the board’s discussion and final decision.
