July 16, 1957-June 12, 2026
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Don Robert (Rob) Sinclair. Rob passed peacefully with his loving wife, Beth, at his side, on June 12, 2026.
Rob was born in Washington, Indiana, to Donald and Connie (Smith) Sinclair on July 16, 1957. He was 68 years old. Rob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a highly skilled carpenter who built not only homes, but a life and legacy for his family. He built the home where they raised their family and continued to live for many years, a true reflection of his dedication, talent, and love.
To his family, Rob was more than that; he was their hero. He was the kind of man who could fix anything, build anything, and always seemed to have the answer when you needed it most. He was steady, dependable, and quietly strong in every way that mattered.
One of Rob’s greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandchildren, who absolutely adored him. Whether he was working alongside them in the yard or cheering them on at their sporting events, those moments meant everything to him. He also loved family vacations to Florida, where many cherished memories were made during extended stays together.
Rob was a quiet man who never sought the spotlight, but his impact on those who knew and loved him will last forever. His presence, wisdom, humor, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Sinclair; three children: Stacy (Andrew) Lafferty, Cole (Crystal) Sinclair, Alicia (Chris) Budny; six grandchildren: Saylor, Beau, and Max Sinclair, Darian Lafferty, Dylan Morris, Brittnee (Tristan) Jones; two great-grandchildren: Cooper and Kelce Jones; his father, Don Sinclair; two sisters: Phyllis (John) Whittaker, Elaine (Mike) Dayhoff; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Sinclair, and his nephew, Johnny Whittaker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Aaron Wagoner officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
