Michael S. Robertson, 71 of Springville, passed away on June 3, 2026, at Redcrest Hospice in Bloomington. Michael was born in Bloomington on September 17, 1954, to Homer W. Robertson and Vivian Irene (Patton) Robertson. Mike married Carolyn Sue Baker in Smithville on July 5, 1974, and she survives. Mike was a 1972 graduate of Bloomington High School South. He previously worked at G.E. in Bloomington, Indiana University Maintenance Department, and recently worked as a Truck Driver. Mike was an elder and member of Pleasant Kentucky Ridge Church; he was a Cub Scout leader and was an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sue Robertson, daughter, Rebecca Ann Lanier and husband Corey Lanier, son, Samuel Edward Robertson, grandchildren, Ada Renee’ Lanier, Reese Ensley Robertson, and Rory Elise Robertson, brother-in-law, Danny Baker.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Homer W. Robertson and Vivian Irene Robertson, brother, David Robertson, his wife, Patty Robertson, and sister, Janet Robertson.
Celebration of Mike’s life will be on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Kentucky Ridge Church, State Road 58, Bloomfield, Indiana. The family will receive family and friends at 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Knight Ridge Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.Cresthavenfh.com.
