CRAWFORD/HARRISON COUNTY – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. is scheduled to close a portion of State Road 64 on or after Monday, June 8, to complete a bridge deck overlay project in Crawford and Harrison counties.

The closure will take place on S.R. 64 over Blue River just north of Milltown at the Crawford and Harrison county line. S.R. 64 is expected to reopen in early July, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows S.R. 66 to U.S. 150 to S.R. 135 back to S.R. 64.
Additional work will take place within the project limits following the reopening of S.R. 64. The overall project is expected to be complete in late July, weather permitting.
This project is part of a $5.2 million contract awarded to E&B Paving in December 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
